The setting is deliberately low-stimulus: no flashes or flickering, no moving images that play by themselves, and a calm colour palette. That's a fixed design rule, not a setting that can accidentally be switched off. Please note: this is a learning aid, not a medical device. If in doubt, always talk to your own doctor or specialist.

The photo is used only in working memory to make the lesson, and destroyed straight after. We don't store it anywhere: not in a database, not in a file, not in a log. Only the finished lesson is kept. This is guarded by an automated test that cannot be switched off.

That's right, AI can get things wrong. That's why a second, independent AI checks every lesson for accuracy, level and safety. If that check is unsure, you see the lesson first and decide whether your child gets to see it. If something is still off, you adjust the lesson with the Refine button, report it, or delete it.

Yes, that's exactly the idea. You photograph your child's own schoolwork: the worksheet or book page from school. So the lesson is about exactly the same material, just in a calmer form with small steps. Your child learns nothing different from the class, only presented differently.

The first 3 sample lessons are free, with no payment details. If you then want the 14-day trial, we verify your card so the trial can start. We do this to prevent misuse of free trials. Nothing is charged until the trial is over, and you can cancel at any time.

At this early stage we can't say yet. After VAT, hosting costs and the AI tokens each lesson uses, we don't yet know well what we'll have left. We'd rather be honest about that. Our goal is modest: to be able to go on holiday once a year from what we make.

Yes. You cancel yourself on the account page, including during the trial. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. There are no notice periods or phone calls needed.

No, deliberately not. You manage everything with your parent account; your child uses the lessons in a locked child mode without their own login. That way your child's data stays to the absolute minimum: only the condition, a rough learning level and, if you like, a name you choose yourself.

Usually not. Homework and learning support generally falls outside statutory funding; only in exceptional cases does a local authority decide otherwise. We'd rather be honest about that. Good to know: for support at school there are free options, such as advice from Young Epilepsy and Epilepsy Action (for epilepsy) or the Child Brain Injury Trust (for a brain injury), and your local authority can assess whether your child needs extra support.

For children with epilepsy, an acquired brain injury or autism, from primary through to secondary school. The material stays the same as at school; only the way the lesson is presented adapts. You choose the learning level yourself.

The lesson is still about the same material; only the build-up differs. For epilepsy the emphasis is on calm and a fixed form: no flashing or flickering, no time pressure, and small steps your child can always pause. For an acquired brain injury it's about small chunks and plenty of repetition: important words come back a few times, on an uncluttered page with few distractions at once. For autism it's about predictability and literal language: every lesson has the same structure, with numbered steps and no figures of speech. In all cases you set the learning level.
